Kim Eun Sook, scriptwriter of SBS’ A Gentleman’s Dignity, sent in her love call to actor So Ji Sub.
The July 1 broadcast of A Gentleman’s Dignity was mostly centered on the four flower ‘boys’ Do Jin (Jang Dong Gun), Tae San (Kim Soo Ro), Yoon (Kim Min Jong) and Jung Rok (Lee Jong Hyuk), and their first love Kim Eun Hee (Park Joo Mi).
Yi Su (Kim Ha Neul), who just started her relationship with Do Jin, especially showed her curiosity about who Kim Eun Hee was.
Yi Su asked Mae Ari (Yoon Jin Yi) whether she knows Kim Eun Hee. To this, Mae Ari answered, “The writer of the drama Ghost?” and put her hands together with a happy expression while calling out, “Charming So,” So Ji Sub’s nickname.
The reason the mention of So Ji Sub draws so much interest is because Kim Eun Sook has always slipped in references to actors she wants to work with in her pieces. Jang Dong Gun used to be a favorite in her works for the 2008 drama On Air and the 2010 drama Secret Garden.
In On Air, Kim Eun Sook had the top star Oh Seung Ah (Kim Ha Neul) say about her drama ‘Ticket to the Moon’, “Can’t we have Jang Dong Gun as the male lead?”
Scriptwriter Seo Young Eun (Song Yun Ah) was also set to be asked by her mother (the late Park Joo Ah), “Does Jang Dong Gun come out in your piece?”
In Secret Garden, Ju Won (Hyun Bin) even said, “If you take a close look at me, I’m like a cameo at the Jang Dong Gun level.”
Kim Eun Sook finally got her answer to her many love calls when Jang Dong Gun decided to appear in A Gentleman’s Dignity.
As such, it is possible that Kim Eun Sook again has her eyes set on getting So Ji Sub on her drama by sending love calls through her dramas. Will So Ji Sub will make an appearance in her next piece?
