So Ji Sub as "No. 1 Kangwon Ambassador" to promote tourism of the Kangwon province

So Ji Sub has been appointed as "No. 1 Kangwon Ambassador" to promote tourism of the Kangwon province.

In his photobook essay, he featured photos and essays he authored while visiting areas of the province, including Cheolwon, Hwacheon, Yanggu and Goseong.

He is the first Korean star to be chosen as the ambassador. In the past they chose stars from other countries.

Gangwon Province tapped So for the job because of his great popularity in China and Japan due to his hit TV dramas "Glass Slippers" and "I'm Sorry, I Love You."

Kangwon province was the location mentioned in Cain & Abel episode 15 where Oh Yong Ji went to cure Lee Cho In and walked along the street so lovely later on.

The ceremony will take place on Sept. 3rd, 1:30PM..
